November 7, 2012 - I will say this is by far weirdest game I have ever played from G5 Entertainment. I believe itís probably the Russian basis of the game or the history of the game. While the game doesnít have anything to do with Russia per se you do have a Russian aspect of the game. The game revolves around two bungling detectives as they attempt to track down a stolen elephant from the zoo. The gameplay for the game is different and odd; thereís hardly any dialogue in the game. This is a typical point and click adventure game where your exploring areas to advance to the next ones.

It can be irritating at times when playing this game because you usually have to find an item and use it to advance. But there are two characters and the frustrating part is figuring out which character is supposed to use the item or interact with an object. And most of the time itís not a straight forward idea of how you deal with an issue. An example of this is in the tutorial where they sort of teach you to think outside the box to advance to the next scene. Thereís a stand the chief assistant character opens the doors on it and a bird flies out with a coin in its mouth. How do you get the coin? Itís not apparent how you get that as the bird sits on top of the gate. But then you have to take control of the chief and search a barrel and out jumps a cat which scares the bird and the bird drops the coin and you pick it up. Now that you have the coin, what do you do with it? It seems in order to advance from here; you need to bribe the armed guard at the zoo with the coin in order to get in. Most people would have never figured that out without the hint system.

There are some instances where the characters are not able to do a certain task and thereís a little animation where they refuse to do it. Also picking between the detectives can be a pain as well as when youíre walking around you can accidentally click on things you donít want. With its unique cartoon style it does separate itself from other games in the genre. If youíre looking for different, this game is definitely unique enough for you to give it a shot considering itís a free download. So help the chief and his assistant find the elephant.
